Starfish at low tide

While living on Vancouver Island I had made it my goal to learn how to surf. Little did I know that along with a great community of people, I would also become aquatinted with Pacific marine life. I headed out to ride some waves and as the tide rolled out these colourful starfish were visible along the rocky shore.
